Free Flu Shots Offered During Flu Season
Your state health plan wants to help you stay healthy. One way to do that is to get a flu shot this fall! COVA Care, COVA Connect and COVA HDHP members, including covered dependents, may get a free flu shot at participating Virginia pharmacies from now until the end of flu season. Employee Assistance Program Here to Help
Times are tough right now. It can be difficult and stressful to cope with today's environment. That’s why it is important to consider the Employee Assistance Program to help deal with these and other issues. State employees and family members covered in the Commonwealth’s health plans can get up to four free counseling visits per incident. See more information.
Library of Virginia Offers Assistance
With so many job openings being posted only online and the Virginia Employment Commission encouraging those seeking unemployment insurance to use their online services, the Library of Virginia has offered to help. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 to 1:30 staff members of the Library of Virginia will be on hand in their first floor computer lab to assist those who are either looking for a job or filing for unemployment insurance. Library staff is unable to provide career counseling or unemployment information but will be glad to assist with online employment applications.
